Laboratory of Structures (LBE)
The Laboratory of Structures aims to offer support for the development of research related to structural engineering. It has a 60 kN crane with a 15 m span and a 9 x 18 m reaction slab, 80 cm thick, with holes every 50 cm that allow the anchoring of experiments with point forces of up to 500 kN. It has 4 hydraulic actuators with capacities from 100 to 2000 kN, 03 hydraulic oil pumps, an HBM Quantum X modular data acquisition system with 64 channels; a Micro Measurements System 5100 data acquisition system with 40 channels; a 24-channel National Instruments data acquisition system; 02 SENSR GP2Lx data acquisition systems for measuring acceleration, vibration and impact response; load cells variable pressure and linear displacement transducers.
