Marcos Túlio Fernandes to Defend Ph.D. Dissertation in Geotechnical Engineering
Marcos Túlio Fernandes will defend his Ph.D. dissertation in geotechnical engineering at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV) on November 22, 2023. The defense will be held remotely via Google Meet.
The title of the dissertation is “Reliability and Prediction of the Behavior of Reinjectable and Prestressed Anchors in Soils.”
The dissertation committee will be composed of the following members:

About the Researcher
Marcos Túlio Fernandes is a civil engineering technician from the Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais (CEFET-MG), a civil engineering graduate from the Presidente Antônio Carlos University (2014), a master of science in civil engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa (2017) in the area of Analytical and Experimental Geotechnical Engineering, and a specialist in Concrete Structures and Foundations from the IMBEC/UNIP. He is currently a Ph.D. student in civil engineering at UFV. His research interests include geotechnical engineering, anchors, and numerical modeling.
